Fine made at Lancaster the Monday in the 5th week of Lent, 2 and 3 Philip and Mary, between Richard Smalshawe , plaintiff, and sir Thomas Hesketh, kt., and Alice his wife, defendants, by which the said sir Thomas acknowledges that a messuage, orchard, lands, &c. in Skelmersdale belong to the said Richard, he paying £30 sterling.
