Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Sunday after the feast of All Saints, 11 Ed. III (2 Nov. 1337). (Clauo: see MS. Ch. Suffolk 522b, his name occurs frequntly. On 522b and in 635 the name is clearly written "Clavo". In many other deeds it is very uncertain.)
