Indenture made between the prior of the Holy Trinity, Gipp', and the convent, of the one part, and William Crane of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary) of the other, witnesseth that the said prior and convent have granted to farm to the said William all their lands, tenements, &c. in the villages of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Creting All Saints), Creeting St Olave (Creting St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earl), Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegan), Coddenham (Codenham), and Crowfield (Creffeld), for 12 years, paying annually six marks of silver. Dated the Sunday next after the feast of St. Michael, 21 Rich. II (30 Sept. 1397).

Richard de Burghstede, parson of Framlingham at the Castle (Framelingham at the Castter), grants to Edmund de St. Clauo, son and heir of John de St. Clauo, and Agnes his wife, all his lands, rents, &c. in the villages of Coddenham (Codenham), Crowfield (Croffeld), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints, Creeting St Olave (Creeting St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earls), Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegaine), and Little Stonham (Stonham Gernegan). Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Sunday after the feast of All Saints, 11 Ed. III (2 Nov. 1337). (Clauo: see MS. Ch. Suffolk 522b, his name occurs frequntly. On 522b and in 635 the name is clearly written "Clavo". In many other deeds it is very uncertain.)

William Crane of Creeting St Mary (Cretyngge St. Mary) appoints Hugh Bugge to deliver to Thomas ate Grene of Creeting St Peter (Creting St. Peter's), and others, seisin of all his lands &c. in Stoweupland or Stowmarket (Stowe), Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Creting All Saints), Creeting St Olave (Creting St. Olave), Coddenham (Codenham), and Little Stonham (Stonham Jernynggan). Dated at Creeting St Mary (Cretyngge St. Mary) the Tuesday next before the feast of St. Peter in Cathedra, 7 Rich. II (16 Feb. 1384).

John Jaune, parson of the church of Glemsford, grants to sir Philip Deneys, kt., William Berard, Edmund Drury, perpetual vicar of the church of Eye, and others, all his lands in the villages of Coddenham (Codenham), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), Creeting St Olave (Creeting St. Olive), and Creeting All Saints. Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) Tuesday after the feast of St. Edmund, king and martyr, 14 Rich. II. [Partly effaced.]

Simon Skut of Coddenham (Codenham) grants to John Wyght, rector of Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints), Hugh Bugge, and others, all his lands and tenements in Coddenham (Codenham), Creeting St Mary (Cretyngg St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints), and Creeting St Olave (Cretyngge St. Olave). Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Monday on the feast of St. Michael, 17 Rich. II. [The object of this conveyance is defined in MS. Ch. Suffolk 581.]

John de Lodene, rector of Creeting All Saints (Cretingge All Saints), and Edmund de St. Olavo of Coddenham (Codynham) grant to Bartholomew de Cyrsy and Alice his wife of Cretingge aforesaid all his lands and tenements in the villages of Creeting St Mary (Cretingge St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (All Saints), and Creeting St Olave (St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earls), and Coddenham (Codinham). Dated at Creeting All Saints (Cretingge All Saints) the Sunday next before the feast of St. Barnabas, 10 Ed. II.

Agnes, daughter and heir of John de Holbat of Creeting St Olave (Cretingge St. Olave) , remits and quit-claims to John de Holbat, her father, all her right in a messuage and land in Creeting St Olave (Cretingge St. Olave). Dated there Thursday mext after feast of St Gregory the pope 34 Ed. III.
