Edmund de St. Clano of Coddenham (Codenham) grants to the prior and convent of the church of the Holy Trinity of Gyppewic', and their successors and assigns, that they may have a free way with horses and carts and of every kind of animal in the whole of his way which lies before his gate, which extends itself from the tenement of John Wistlepays towards the tenement formerly Ralph Sundai's, without any impediment. Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Thursday next after the feast of the Circumcision, 16 Ed. III (2 Jan. 1343).

Indenture made between the prior of the Holy Trinity, Gipp', and the convent, of the one part, and William Crane of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary) of the other, witnesseth that the said prior and convent have granted to farm to the said William all their lands, tenements, &c. in the villages of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Creting All Saints), Creeting St Olave (Creting St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earl), Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegan), Coddenham (Codenham), and Crowfield (Creffeld), for 12 years, paying annually six marks of silver. Robert de Vlendene of Coddenham (Codenham) grants to Robert Spake of the same place, for his service and a certain sum of money, two pieces of land in Coddenham (Codenham) in the field called 'Haylond.' Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Sunday next after the feast of the Invention of the Cross, 2 Ed. II (4 May 1309).

Mabel, daughter of Matilda Clare (?) of Coddenham (Codenham) , remits and quit-claims to Nicholas Spake all her right in certain land called Cokyslond in Coddenham (Codenham). Dated the Wednesday next before the feast of St. Francis, 3 Ed. II (1 Oct. 1309).

Margaret, daughter of Roger Dolfin of Creeting St Mary (Cretingges St. Mary) , grants to William de Bosco of the same place and Christiana his wife, one piece of land lying in the parish of Coddenham (Codenham). Marieta, who was the wife of Robert Dolfin of Creeting St Mary (Cretingges St. Mary) , grants to William del Bosco of the same place and Christine all her right in a piece of land in Coddenham (Codenham). Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Sunday before the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, 4 Ed. II (20 June 1311).

Richard de Burghstede, parson of Framlingham at the Castle (Framelingham at the Castter), grants to Edmund de St. Clauo, son and heir of John de St. Clauo, and Agnes his wife, all his lands, rents, &c. in the villages of Coddenham (Codenham), Crowfield (Croffeld), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints, Creeting St Olave (Creeting St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earls), Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegaine), and Little Stonham (Stonham Gernegan). Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Sunday after the feast of All Saints, 11 Ed. III (2 Nov. 1337). (Clauo: see MS. Ch. Suffolk 522b, his name occurs frequntly. On 522b and in 635 the name is clearly written "Clavo". In many other deeds it is very uncertain.)

Robert de le Wode of Coddenham (Codenham), chaplain, grants to sir William, vicar of the church of Rushmere St Andrew (Resshemere), and Hamo Dyke de Wixoe (Wydekeshe), chaplain, certain lands &c. in the villages of Coddenham (Codenham), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), and Little Stonham (Stoneham Jernegan). Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Friday next after the feast of St. [Martin] 15 Ed. III (16 Nov. 1341).

John del Wode, chaplain, grants to William, perpetual vicar of Rushmere St Andrew (Resshemere), and Hamo Dike of Wixoe (Wedekishe), chaplain, all lands and tenements he has in the villages of Coddenham (Codenham) and Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegan), and the hamlet of Crowfield (Croffeld). John, son and heir of Robert Coleman of Creeting All Saints (Cretyngge All Saints) , is bound to William, vicar of Rushmere St Andrew (Resshemere), and sir Hamo Dyke, chaplain, in one annual rent of 40s. from lands and tenements in Coddenham (Codenham), Creeting St Mary (Creeting St. Mary), and Creeting All Saints. Dated at Ipswich (Gippewyc) the Sunday next after the Epiphany, 16 Ed. III (12 Jan. 1343).

Agnes, widow of Robert le Tailliour of Creeting All Saints (Cretynge All Saints) , remits and quit-claims to John de Peckham, jun., all her right in a piece of arable land in Coddenham (Codenham). Dated at Cretyngge aforesaid the Friday next before the feast of St. Margaret, virgin, 17 Ed. III (18 July 1343).
