STOKESBY and THRICKBY. Indenture dated St. Hilary's day, 32 Ed. I, reciting that whereas William Fitzwilliam of Redham had enfeoffed William Aleyn of Stokesby , and Roger his brother in 55 acres of arable land lying in Stokesby and Thrickby, as by his charter appears, this convention witnesseth that after six years the said William Fitzwilliam of Redham shall have again the said land without let or hindrance.

FLEGG (Hundred of). William, bp. of Winchester , John Beauchamp, lord de Beauchamp, Sir John Howard, kt., William Yelverton, kt., Thomas Lytelton , William Jenney , William Paston, esq., Thomas Howys, clerck, and William Grene , remit and quit-claim to John Paston, knt. all their right of and in the manor of Castre in Flegge called Vaux and Bosoms, and in those lands and in tenements in Castre called Redham, with the advowson of the chapel of St. John the Baptist in the same village, and the manors of Heryngly (sic) called Spensers and Fennes, the third part of the manor in Runham, the manor in Wynterton called Begvyles with one windmill, the manor of Reppes in Bastewyk, and all messuages, &c. in Great Jernernuth, and in lands and tenements called Billes in Stokesby, and those lands and tenements called Cattes in Heryngby, and all other lands &c. in the villages of Castre, Great Jernemuth, Ormesby, Scroutby, Mautby, Wynterton, Somerton, Martham, Bastewyk, Reppes, Hikelyng, Stokesby, Heryngby, Runham, Thyrkby, Filby, or elsewhere within the hundred of Est Flegge and Westflegge, together with many other lands, advowsons, and rents in the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk.
