Elyzabet, relict of Alan de Rocwod, confirms to Robert Cralle of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld), Isabella his wife and Robert their son, one piece of arable land lying in Hanecroft, which they had from her deceased husband. Dated at Acton (Aketon) on Palm Sunday, 27 Ed. I (12 Apr. 1299).

BRAMFORD. Walter de Reymes of Bramford (Bromford) grants to Alexander de Reymes of Burstall (Burstalle), for his homage and service and for 2 marks of silver, one piece of land in the village of Bramford (Bromford). (c. 1250-70)

Christiana de Branford, widow, and Robert her son grant to Constantine for two years from 53 [Henry III] a piece of meadow land in the parish of Bramford (Branford). [Much faded.]

Hugh de Gosebeth quit-claims for two marks to Robert , son of Gilebert de Vlendene, and (the undermentioned) Roys and his heirs, the homage and service of Roger the smith and his heirs, with the whole of the tenement of the said Roger, for which the said Hugh impleaded Adam de Bedigefeld and Roys his wife "per breve de recto", who had it in dowry at a rent of 5s. for the said tenement, and all other tenements which Gilbert, father of the said Robert, held of Peter, father of the said Hugh, in the parish of Coddenham (Code[n]ham). CODDENHAM, &c. Sefuhelus de Vlendene confirms to William de Cyresi, for his homage and service and for 18s., one piece of his land in the village of Coddenham (Code[n]ham); paying annually to him and his heirs one grain of pepper. (c. 1220-30.)

William, son of Peter de Codeham le Pleydur grants to Ralph Wyslepays two pieces of land in the parish of Coddenham (Codeham), paying annually to him and his heirs 6d.; for this grant the said Ralph gave to him 20s. sterling and made his homage. (c. 1220-30.)

Coddenham. Geoffrey de Slamundishe grants to Thomas de Kalna, for his homage and service and for 40 marks of silver, all ... of Thomas de Codenham, with homage, rents, escheats, &c., paying annually 24d. for all services, &c. (c. 1260-70.)

John, son of Ralph Ysly de la Rode, grants to William Snod, Juliana his wife, and to Edmund their son and his heirs, for the term of their lives, for their service and 20s., one piece of land in Coddenham (Codeham), paying annually to him and his heirs one clove at Easter. Dated at the house of the said William the Monday next after the feast of St. Scolastica the virgin, 12 Ed. I (14 Feb. 1284).

Alice, daughter of Richard de Schaldeforde, widow, grants to Robert, son of Bartholomew de Bucketon, and Sarah his wife, for their service and 30s. of silver, half an acre of meadow in the village of Coddenham (Codenham), and in the field called 'Schaldefordemedwe', and half a rood in the same meadow. Dated in the month of February, 21 Ed. I (1293).

John de Cranel of Coddenham (Codeham) grants to Nicholas Spake of the same place, for his service and 3s. of silver, one piece of land in the village of Coddenham (Codeham). Dated at Le Rode, Whitsunday, 23 Ed. I (22 May 1295).

John, son of John, the clerk of Coddenham (Codenham), grants to William the merchant (mercator) of the same place, for his service and 11s. of silver, one piece of arable land in Coddenham (Codenham). Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) the Saturday next before the feast of St. Barnabas, 24 Ed. I (9 June 1296).

Alice Spake of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary) grants to Nicholas Spake of Coddenham (Codenham) one piece of her land in the village of Coddenham (Codenham). Dated the Sunday next before the feast of St. Matthew the apostle, 27 Ed. I (19 Sept. 1299).

Ralph le Cirzi of Creeting St Peter (Stepelcreting) grants to Thomas Bresingham and Petronilla his wife, for homage and service and 40s., one piece of land in the parish of Creeting St Peter (Stepelcreting). (c. 1280-90.)

Philip Sprot of Holbrook (Holebec) grants to Robert, son of Alexander de Sponere of Creeting St Mary (Cretinge St. Mary) , for 20s. in hand paid, three pieces of land in Creeting All Saints (Steple Cretinge). (c. 1270-80.)

HELMINGHAM. Thomas de Helmingham, chaplain, grants to sir John de Lampet, chaplain, for his homage and service, one piece of land in the village of Helmingham, paying annually for the same four-pence. (c. 1280-90.)

HEMMINGSTON. Robert Thedware of Coddenham (Codenham) grants to Geoffrey his son, chaplain, five pieces of land in the village of Hemingstone (Hemmingestun), for five marks. Dated at Coddenham (Codenham) on the day of St. Francis the confessor, 24 Ed. I.

STONHAM EARLS. Henry Bruse grants to Richard le Wyte and Beatrice his wife, for five marks one piece of land in the parish of Earl Stonham (Stonham Earls) called 'Gatherdesaker.' (c. 1240-60.) (See MS. Ch. Suffolk 1031)

STONHAM JERNEGAN. John Bissop grants to John, the chaplain of Little Stonham (Stanham), for his homage and service and 10s., half an acre, of land in Little Stonham (Stanham Gernegan). (c. 1240-50.)

William Oslard (Oltard?) grants to Alice de Derham (?) for half a mark one rood of land in Little Stonham (Stanham Gernegan), which she held of the grantors father Robert. (c. 1220-30.)

John Cordebof grants to William, son of William de Ceresi, the whole of his land in Little Stonham (Little Stanham) to hold the same by the payment of 3s. per ann. (c. 1220-30.)
