STOKE (Priory of). Hamo Pecche ("Peccatum"), son of Gilbert Peccatum, remits to the prior and convent of Stoke all his right in the tithes of his lordship of Gestingthorpe (Gestinget') [endorsed: 'Gestingetorp']. (c. 1220-30.)

⟨Walton (?) or Trimley St Martin (?)⟩ William, lord of Grimestune, grants to St. Felix and the monks there, in frankalmoigne, for the souls of his wife and of his successors 12d. from the land which was Eadnoth's, which Roger Cristemasse holds. (c. 1210-20.) [Done in the time of Robert, the prior.]

⟨Walton (?)⟩ Richard de Stampes grants to the priory of Walton St. Felix, in frankalmoigne, an annual rent of 6d. (c. 1210-30.) [Endorsed "Tempore Roberti prioris"] [Partly effaced.]

Isabella, the daughter of Hugh Joye, grants to the church of St. Felix 2d. annual rent in Walton. (c. 1250-70.)

ACTON. Walter, son of Richard de Lulham, grants to John, son of Wygot Hake, for 43s. in hand paid, three acres of arable land in the village of Acton (Haketon), for an annual rent of 5d. (c. 1270-80.)

CAVENDISH. Robert le Meller of Denston (Denarddestun), Margaret his wife, and William, son of Reginald of Beauchamp St. Paul, grant to William, son of Ralph Pit' of Wrottinge, one messuage and one piece of land to the same belonging, in the village of Cavendish (Cavened)'. Dated at Cavendish (Cavenedis) the Saturday next after the feast of St. Martin, 24 Ed. I (17 No. 1296).

William de Huntingefeld grants to Richard Agelliun and Alice his wife the custody of the lands and heirs of William Carbunel, formerly husband of the said Alice, also the manor of Chilton in dower, for the term of the life of the said Alice. (c. 1210-20.)

GLEMSFORD, &c. Robert, son of Walter de Glemsford, grants to Richard, son of Richard the clerk of Crownthorpe (Crungetorp) , for his homage and service and 20s., 2 acres 3½ roods of arable land in Glemsford (Glemesford), paying annually 12d. (c. 1230-40.)

STANSTEAD. William le Folyur of Glemsford (Glemisford) confirms to Walter his son and Alice his daughter, for their homage and service, and for 20s. in hand paid, a messuage with a meadow in the parish of Stanstead, paying annually to Walter, son of Walter de Tilneye, 21d., with a dinner of the lord, or to have one penny each. (c. 1270-1280.)

Robert de Halsted remits and quit-claims to John Carbonel all his right in the meadows of the said John called 'Chiltone medwe' near Sudbury (Subir)' avout which there was a suit in the king's court between Robert Carbenel, father of the said John and William Elys and others of the burg of Sudbury (Subere). Dated at Sudbury (Subir)' the Wednesday on the feast of the Nativity of our Lord, 9 Ed. I (25 Dec. 1280).

WALDINGFIELD (Great and Little), &c. Robert le Engleys of Great Waldingfield (Great Waudigfeud) remits and quit-claims to John de Hudebovil all his right, &c.in a tenement in Great Waldingfield (Great Waudigfeud ) and Little Waldingfield (Little Waudigfeud) for which the said John gives him half a mark. (c. 1240-50?.)

Roger le Engleys ("Anglicus") and Lauretta his wife grant to John de Hudebovill' all his right to the patronage of the church of Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldiggefeld). For this donation the said John gave ½ mark of silver. (c. 1220-30.)

Lauretta (?), daughter of William, son of ..., grants to John Hudebovill all her right in the church of Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldiggefeld). For which grant the said John gave her half a mark of silver. (c. 1220-30.)

Gilebert de Little Waldingefeld grants to Adam de Brantistune, clerk, the whole of a meadow in the village of Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld). For this charter of confirmation the said Adam gave 12d. (c. 1260-70.)

Humphrey of the church ("de Ecclesia") grants to Nicholas, son of Roger de Subir', for his homage and service and eight pence, one piece of land lying in Great Waldingfield or Little Waldingfield (Waldingefeld). (c. 1250-60.)

William de Feypo, senior, grants to sir Robert Carbonel, son of sir Geoffrey Carbonel of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldigfeud), for his homage and service and three marks and a half of silver, 3½ acres of arable land in Great Waldingfield (Great Waldigfeud). Witn. sir John de Hodebovile, sir Hugh Thalemascha, etc. (c. 1250-60.)

William de Feypo, junior, grants to sir Robert, son of sir Geoffrey Carbonel of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld) , for his homage and service and 4 marks of silver, 3 acres of arable land in Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld), adjacent to the land bought of Will. de Feypo, his father. (c. 1270-80.)

Gilbert Infang of Little Waldingfield (Little Waudinggefd) grants to sir Robert Carbonel the homage and service of Alexander Martin of Great Waldingfield (Great Waudinggefd) and an annual rent of two capons, which he was accustomed to pay, for a piece of land in Little Waldingfield (Little Waudinggefeld). (c. 1250-60.)

Richard Talemache and Robert de Aketon, chaplain, grant to Thomas Carbonel and Elizabeth his wife two parts of the manor of Waldingfield Hall Carbonells (Great Waldingfeld) with the advowson of the churches of Chilton and Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeld), also a third part of the manor held by sir Robert de Bosco and Christiana his wife, as dowry of the said Christiana. (c. 1275.)

Andrew Gunel, merchant, grants to John, son of Geoffrey de Heldrake [or Sheldrake?] of Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld) , one acre of land and a messuage in Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeld). (c. 1250-60.) [Partly effaced.]

Thomas Carbonnel grants to Richard Thalemach and Robert the chaplain of Acton (Aketon) two parts of the manor of Waldingfield Hall Carbonells (Great Waldingfeud) and all lands, &c. in the village of Newton (Neuthon) and the advowson of the churches of Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeud) and Chilton. Dated at Great Waldingfield (Great Waldingfeud) the Sunday next after the Epiphany, 3 Ed. I

Dated the Saturday next after the feast of All Saints, 24 Ed. I (3 Nov. 1296).

Matilda, daughter of John Herberd of Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeud) , grants to John, son of Amicia Althot of the same place, for 14s. in hand paid, a messuage with a house in Little Waldingfield (Little Waldingfeud). Dated the Sunday next before the feast of St. Barnabas the apostle, 26 Ed. I (8 June 1298).
