John, son of Anaund (sic) de Thweyt, quit-claims to Richard de Whatefeld for half a mark all right and claim in land and a tenement in the village of Wickham Skeith (Wykham) (sic), which the said Richard bought of Roger the clerck, and for one part of which the said John impleaded him by writ de recto in the court of Eye. Martin Morkac of Wickham Skeith (Wicham) grants to William, son of Turgis of Rishangle, for his service and 11s., twelve pence of annual rent coming annually from John Gernun of Wickham Skeith (Wicham) for land in Wickham Skeith (Wicham). (c. 1250-60.)

Robert Hune and [ Berta his wife?], for 19s., grant to ... one piece of land in Wickham Skeith (?) (Wikham) which Agnes, who was the wife of Odo ..., gave to him in marriage dowry with her daughter the said Berta. (c. 1240-50.) [One half effaced.]

(Wicham) , quit-claims to Richard de Wicham, clerk, for ever, one penny annual rent, which he was accustomed to pay to him for a certain messuage in Wickham Skeith (?) (Wicham), which Benedicta the mother of Henry de Bosco, the grantors father, held as dowry. (c. 1290-1300.)

Thomas Gernun grants to Roger de Berton, clerk, that he may be his attorney to make the service to the chief lords of the fees which he holds of him in Wickham Skeith (?) (Wicham). (c. 1240-50.)

Roger, son of the late William de Cotton, kt., grants to Robert, son of the late Roger de Wycham, for half a mark two pieces of land, one lying in a field called 'Dune' and the other in a field called 'Merys,' in Wickham Skeith (Wycham), at an annual rent of one penny; releasing him from the dues of hens and work in autumn for the same. Dated 5 Ed. I.

Robert de Wyverdestun grants to Alexander, the 'pastor' of Wickham Skeith (Wycham), for 11s. 4d. one piece of land above Wickham Skeith (Scheyth) at an annual rent of 7d. (c. 1270-80.)

Martin del Grene of Wickham Skeith (Wycham) grants to Katherine his daughter and Nicholas le Goldsmit, in free marriage, one piece of his garden with buildings, &c., and 2 pieces of arable land in the field called 'Wlfryhtuft,' and 8d. annual rent from Theobald, his brother, in Wickham Skeith (Wycham); rendering annually 12d. Brian, son of Odo de Colchester, grants to Nicholas de Bedefeld a piece of land in Wickham Skeith (Vicham) and the homage and service of William Bussop and his heirs, for a tenement held of the said Brian of the said fee. (c. 1260-70.)

Odo Morcoc grants to Godfrey Cordebof one acre of land in Wickham Skeith (?) (Wicham) and also the third part of the land which he holds from sir Hubert Cordebof, father of the said Godfrey, at an annual rent of 8d. (c. 1270-80.)

John Science of Great Yarmouth (Gernemuth) impledges to Roger, son of Richard Ingald of Wortham (Wrtham) , 7 acres of arable land in the fields of Wortham (Wrtham), to hold from the Friday next before the feast of the apostles SS. Simon and Jude, 23 Ed. I, to the Nativity following, for a loan of 40s.

⟨Wortham (?)⟩. Symon de Hotone and Eglentin his wife grant to Gilbert Manton of Wortham (Wrtham) for 6s. one piece of land computed at half an acre in the field of Litlemor, paying annually for the same 2d. (c. 1280-90.)

Giles de Wachesham, kt., confirms to William de Hereford, rector of half the church of Wortham, for the sum of two marks the homage of Richard, son of Hervy Ingold, with all his issue and chattels. (c. 1260.)

Henry de Fincham, chaplain, grants to Hugh, son of Robert Hare of Wortham (Wrtham) , for his homage and service, one messuage and all that belongs to it in Wortham (Wrtham), called Chelewalvestuft, paying yearly 12d. (c. 1280-90.)

William de Hereford, rector of half of the church of Wortham, grants to Richard, son of Hervy Ingold (whom sir Giles de Wachesham gave unto him with his issue), to be free with all that belongs to him, for which he shall pay one penny yearly at the altar, on the day of Nativ. B.V.M. for the maintenance of the light, and to the grantor and his heirs three roots of ginger. (c. 1260.)
