MORHOUSES. Thomas de Schepelay grants to Peter "de Taburn" and Cristiana his wife 2s. annual rent in Morhouses. (c. 1250-1260.)

MORTON. Simon de Skestling grants to Emma his daughter two bovates of land in Morton, viz. the two bovates which Cristiana de Giseburne held; for her clothing and necessaries of life with remainder on her death to the convent of St. Mary of Basdal. (c. 1200-10.) .

Henry Staing[reve] , with the consent of Simon his brother and lord, grants to John, son of Waldigg the chaplain , 11 acres of his demesne in the marsh of Neuhay ("Nova haga") and 7 acres above Fultac, paying annually one lb of pepper and one of cummin. (c. 1200-10.) .

Henry, son of Alice de Neuhay, daughter of Henry de Stainegrive , quit-claims to Richard de Happlesthorp the whole of her land in the territory of Neuhay ("Nova haya"), which the said Richard has by charter from the said Alice. (c. 1230-40.) .

Henry, son of Alice de Stainegrive , confirms to Richard de Aplesthorp in the territory of Neuhay ("Nove Haye") one acre of land which he bought of Robert Houthendel of Seleby lying in the marsh, and also 2 other acres in the marsh of the same village, which he bought of Hugh son of Adam , paying annually 2d. Alice de Newhay, daughter of Henry de Staynegrive , sells to Richard de Happlesthorp , for a sum of money which he gave her in her great necessity, 2½ acres of land in New Hay; paying yearly one half penny. (c. 1230-1240.)

Robert Outhendel of Seleby sells to Henry, son of Alice de Stainegrive for 10s. and one "esckeppa" of corn. Witn. Martin provost of Seleby etc. one acre of land in the marsh of Neuhay ("Nova haia"). (c. 1230.)

Grant of the right of presenting a canon of Giseburn to of the church of Brydekyrck, (Carlisle diocese), whenever vacant, made to the prior and convent of Giseburn by Ralph, bp. of Carlisle . Dated at Skelderischoth prid. non. September, 1287.

OSMUNDTHORP. Peter, son of Tomas de Hosmundthor[p] , confirms to Roger, son of Gerard de Hosmundthorp , one bovate of land in the fields of Hosmundthorp, which Adam son of Simon formerly held, one toft which Avicia and Sibilia sisters of the said Tomas formerly held, and one croft; paying annually four shillings. (c. 1230.) .

William, son of Robert of the cemetery, of Allerton , grants to Alexander, son of Alexander de Oustorpe , and his heirs, the whole of his land in Osemundtorpe, which he had of the tenement of Isabella his mother; to hold of the house of the knighthood of the Temple at Neus' paying annually to the said house the due farm. (c. 1260-70.) .

Elena, daughter of Adam dil Hole of Osmundthorp , grants to John, son of William le Tynkler of Ledes , and Agnes his wife, one acre of arable land in Osmundthorp, lying above les Mersiklendes. (c. 1280-1290.)

OVENBEN. Alice, formerly wife of Hugh de Fossat , quit-claims to William de Metheley for a sum of money, all her right in the village and territory of Ovendene, in the lands which she had by the gift of Elizabet her mother and Margery her aunt. (c. 1270-80.) .

PRESTON and FARNEBURNE. Adam de Preston, kt., son of sir Adam de Preston, kt. , grants to John de Raygate, kt., for 240 marks sterling, the whole of his land in Farneburne. Dated the Thursday on the feast of St. Wilfrid in the month of April, 54 Hen. III.

PUDSAY. Robert, son of Jollanus of Pudkesay , sells and confirms, for 20s. to William, son of Adam of Pudkesay , the whole of the rent which Simon, son of Clariz , and John Pie used annually to pay him for certain lands in Pudkesay, with the service of the said men; paying annually to this said William 12d, and John paying 6d. (c. 1230-40.)

ROSTON. Baldwin de Wicham and Hugh son of Hugh , and Roger son of Roger , and Robert son of William, and Ralph Buscell grant to Eustace de Vescy for 5s. a certain turbary in the territory of Roston which is called 'Ludeparcc', paying annually one penny. (c. 1200-10.) .

Isabella and Alice, daughters and heirs of Emma la Rus of Roston , grant to Peter, son of Alan de Roston , the whole of their toft in Roston and half of a perch of land at Boudalemun, and all their right in six bovate which they hold of the King in capite. (c. 1290.)
