HEADINGTON. Hugo de Plugenait grants to the church and canons of St. Frideswide the whole of his culture of 32 acres of arable land in Hedindon, extending along the way as you go from Marston to Oxford, and another culture of 16 acres of arable land which lies between Algheresdich and Beulegam; for this grant the said canons gave 40s. of the money of their church. (c. 1210-20.)

William, son of Andrew Amary of Temple Cowley , remits and quitclaims to Thomas de Eleford all his right in certain annual rents and land in Cowley and Iffley. [Much rubbed.] [Apparently a copy; no witnesses.] (c. 1290-1300) .

Headington Agreement between Oseney and St. F. concerning tithes. 22 May 1225.

Headington Quit-claim by John de Elsefield, son of Sir Gilbert de Elsefield, of all right in a drink for himself, his tenants, and family at the Priory on St. F.’s day. Witnesses: Philip Munekan, Adam de Kerkseye, Robert de Louches, Robert Nel de Pirie, Hugh Cloche, Thomas Thurstayn, Robert de Stonord. Given at Oxford. 21 May 1295.

Richard, bishop of Lincoln confirms to Oseney his predecessors grants of the churches of Westona, Cestertona, Hamptona Gay, Watlingtona and chapels in Burtona, Forsthulle, and an annual pension of 10s. from the church of Ibbestan. June 13, 1263.
