Appointment. 43 Eliz. I. June 29, 1601. Indenture made between (1) Sir John Stanhope, Treasurer of Her Highnes' Chamber, Chief Post Master of England, Vice-Chamberlain of Her Majesty's Household, and (2) Pexall Brocas of Steventon, Hampshire, esq., and Master of Her Majesty's Buckhounds, being an appointment by Pexall Brocas of Sir John Stanhope as his deputy as Master of the Queen's Buckhounds for a limited period (25 July-14 Sept. 1601) (signed by Stanhope) (endorsed: The 3rd Deed of ?assignment to Sir John Stanhop Knight Vicechamberlain).
