Lease|Schedule. Bristol (Gloucestershire). 24 Chas. I. Dec. 11, 1648. Indenture made between (1) Katherine Smyth of St Mary Strand alias Savoy, Middlesex, widow, formerly wife of Edward Smyth of the Middle Temple, London, esq., deceased, and (2) Mary Wathen of the city of Bristol, widow, reciting a leasefor 21 years by Edward Smyth and Katherine Smyth dated 14 September 9 Chas. I, 1633, to James Wathen, then of the parish of St John the Baptist, Bristol, shoemaker, deceased, formerly husband of Mary Wathen, of a messuage in Christmas Street, parish of St John the Baptist, Bristol, with all goods, implements and household stuff listed in a schedule annexed, being a lease for 21 years by (1) to (2) of the premises (with a schedule of fitments attached) (Mary Wathen made her mark).
