Ledger, grant in frankalmoigne. York, Benedictine abbey of St. Mary. [temp. Ed. I] (1307). . Nine leaves from an old ledger book of the church of St. Mary, York (formerly in Hatton library), of which the last four, written by a second hand, are numbered by a 15th cent. hand, 55, 56, 59, 60, having several grants entered upon them, including: (t) Wymar Dapifer grants to the church and monks of St. Mary, York, in frankalmoigne, the chapel of St. Martin of Ricamund, and one carucate of land; and in Edelingthorp 4 carucates of land; and the church of Thorentona and half a carucate of land; and in Forset one carucate of land; and in Scotton 4 carucates of land; and the tithes of his lordship of Wicra (see also (s), of which this entry is a duplicate), but granting in addition two parts of the tithes from his lordship of Morteen.
