Grant. Scoreby (Yorkshire, North Riding) (manor), Stamford Bridge (Yorkshire, North Riding) (manor). Friday next after the Quindene of Easter, 1336 (1336). . Indenture witnessing that whereas Robert de Scorburg, kt., acknowledged in the king's court at York that he owed £1000 to be paid to Walter de Heselarton, kt., on the feast of Easter, 1343, the said Walter wills and grants for himself and heirs that if the said Robert convey to him and Eustachia his wife the manor of Scorreby and Staynfordbrigg at Easter aforesaid, then the bond for the said £1000 shall be void; with other conditions. Dated at Beverley.
