Cartulary, Grant. Byland, Cistercian abbey. Towards the end of the 13th century (1300). . Leaf from a closely-written chartulary of the abbey of Bellalanda, containing copies of documents, mostly barely legible, including: (i) William de Deneby grants to the monks of Bell' his culture of 'Haukinsclif' [near Denby?] in exchange for a culture lying near the bounds of Flockton [c. 1220].
