Assignment of dower. Stanton St Quintin (Wiltshire) (manor), Frome St Quintin (Dorset) (manor). Wednesday next after the feast of St. Luke, evang., 31 Ed. I "finiente" (1303). . Chirograph witnessing that Ralph de Monthermer, earl of Gloucester, after the death of Herbert de St. Quintin, who held the manors of Frome, co. Dorset, and Stauntun Quintin, co. Wiltshire, of him in capite, on the petition of Margery his widow, assigns to her for her dower lands in Staunton Quintin and Frome, equivalent to the third parts of the said manors. Dated at Staunton Quintin (slightly mutilated).
