Grant. Ewerby (Lincolnshire). Grant from Sir Robert de Tibethot, kt., to Sir John de Ry, for his homage and service, the whole of his manor of Houstorpe in the village of Ywarby, with all its appurtenances, as freely as Reginald de la Launde formerly held it of Sir Richard de Haya; paying annually one pair of gilt spurs or 6d. at the feast of St. Botulph. For this grant the said John gave to him £309 and the said Robert guaranteed him against all debts and demands due from the said manor up to the day of SS. Simon and Jude, 46 Hen. [III].
