Notification of grant. Stallingborough (Lincolnshire) (manor). Feast of St. Peter ad vincula, 23 Ed. I (1295). . Notice given by Norman de Arcy, son of Sir Philip de Arcy, to Sir Richard de Arcy of Flixburg, Sir Robert de Lisle, lord of Salekline, William Pynton of Konyngesby, Sir Robert de Nevill, and many others, free tenants of the manor of Stalyngburgh, that he has granted to his son and heir, Sir Robert de Arcy, all their homages and services. Dated at his manor of Noketon. On the dorse is a copy of a grant by Sir Robert de Arcy to Sir Philip de Kyme [?] of the whole manor of Stalyngburgh, enumerating all the tenants. [Both documents are copies, c. 1350; for the original of the first, see the entry on p. 681 of the Calendar of Charters, Rolls, etc., in the Bodleian Library and on p. 29 of vol. 76 of the Dodsworth MSS.]
