Agreement. Mottisfont, priory of Austin canons. Monday next after the feast of St. Barnabas [13 June], 28 Ed. I (1300). . Agreement made between Sir Reginald de St. Martin, kt., son and heir of William de St. Martin, and Robert, son of John Walraund, with William, the prior, and convent of Motesfont, concerning a certain common of pasture in Westdune, upon a meeting of their common friends in the church of All Saints of Westdune, after a law-suit brought by the former by writ of novel disseisin, the plaintiffs releasing all their right in the said common to the priory, in return for a release of land extending from the head of a certain furlong to a brook leading from the High Wood towards Westdune.
