Writ from King Richard II, to Richard Otery, his escheator of the county of Dorset, commanding him to take the fealty of Sir John Trevet, kt., for the third part of the manor of Fordyngton, on the death of Joan, late princess of Wales, mother of the king, who held the same in dower ; the said manor having been granted to Sir John Trevet by Edward, late prince of Wales, and confirmed by letters patent.
