Grant by the mayor &c. of Oxford to Henry VIII of (i) a garden now held by John Hore , about a rood of land, lying near ‘King Henry Theights Colledge’, (ii) a piece of meadow called Shrelake, in the meadow called Fryswith’ Meade, (iii) a garden lying by the King’s Alms House, (iv) a garden occupied by Vynehall or Pecwater’s Inn, (v) a house called Jure Schole or Cyvyll Schole, (vi) a little garden held by Canterbury College, (vii) a toft in which was built a tower late of S. Michael’s at the Suth Gate, (viii) a tenement and garden in the parish of S. Michael’s at the South Gate.
