Order from Henry VI to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer informing them that Thomas Stratton has been granted the office of clerk and surveyor of the Royal Works for life, and ordering them to allow any livery of clothing made to him by the keepers of the Wardrobe. Dated at London, 30 Jan. 1461 (39 Hen. VI).
