Master Robert of Rypplingham, chancellor of the church of York , has received the church of Preston-in-Craven from Boulton for 3 years from Midsummer, 1317, for a certain sum of money. He has granted it for the same term to William de Geyregrave, vicar of Kyldewyk , Henry de Herdeslawe, vicar of Skypton , and John vicar of Carletone , for 360 marks. The monks have constituted themselves principal debtors for this sum, of which he has received 100 marks, owed them 50 marks, has pardoned 120 marks, and is to receive 80 marks. Given at York. ⟨3 Nov.⟩ 1319.
