Chalgrove. Confirmation by Walter, abp. of Canterbury , of a sentence pronounced by Master Richard de Hunsingore, official of the archdeacon of Oxford , and dated 5 Kal. April, 1320, against Ralph, rector of Fletmerston at the suit of Thame Abbey concerning tithes coming from the lands of Sir John Neyrunt, kt., and Robert Verney , in Fletmerston, as well as from the lands of Sir William Blount, kt., in the same, all pertaining to the church of Chalgrove. Walter had authorized the official to proceed against Ralph de Stretle , then rector, by letters dated at Selby 2 Kal. March 1309. Given at Lamebeth. ⟨29 June⟩ 1321.
