Lincoln.. A seventeenth-century transcript of an agreement between Boniface archbishop of Canterbury and the dean and canons of Lincoln, witnessing that when the see of Lincoln falls vacant the canons are to name three or four of their number and notify the abp., who will choose one of them, and arranging for the maintenance of privileges and distribution of income during a vacancy.
