Ravenstone. Agnes, daughter of Walter the cook , grants to sir William prior &c. of R⟨avenstone⟩ , in free alms 1½ acres of land in R⟨avenstone⟩ viz. that acre lying in the upper shot nearer the ditch which is between the assart of the heirs of Walter the cook and the assart of the heirs of Richard Tonge . Rent: 3d. For this grant the prior gave 16s. 8d. Witnesses: Sir Walter de insula, kt., master John de Chishulle , Sir John de St. Maria , William and Simon de R⟨avenstone⟩ , William de Nodariis , Nicholas the clerk , Nicholas of Haversham , Henry the mason , Walter of Scrintun . ⟨1254–c. 1260.⟩
