Robert Freman de Cestria, burgess of Wallingford , grants to Henry le Bacheler of Basyng’ and Agnes his wife, for 20/- the messuage which he had of the gift of Stephen de Stallis , lying between the messuage of William de Stallis, chaplain, and that of Ernald Boneface , in the parish of St. Peter’s, Wallingford, 22 feet in width: in length it stretches from the highroad to the outer barbican of the castle ditch. Rent: (i) to the sacristan of Holy Trinity, Wallingford, 3/1, and (ii) to the fee farm of the borough 2/-, and (iii) to the heirs of Stephen de Stallis a pound of cummin.
