Clapcote. Richard of Lichfeld, chaplain, grants to Alexander of Cholseye, rector of Chinnore , Thomas of Kyngesburi, vicar of Harwelle , Robert Wolueleghe, vicar of Westchurche , and John of Estburi, junior, 5½ acres of arable land in C⟨lapcote⟩ . viz.: 2½ acres at le Buttes on the west of the highroad leading to le Barge, one acre at the quarry, one acre at le Shitehap, one acre at the head of Thistleforlong, abutting on the field of Sottewelle.
