Clapcote. Robert de Croxford and Geoffrey Cheyndut , chaplains, grant to John atte Rysshe of W⟨allingford⟩ and Alice his wife 4 acres of arable land called la Goore, in C⟨lapcote⟩ , of which one acre is forera, between the prior’s land on the east and the land wh. J. and A. his wife have of the gift of R. de C. and G. C., and 3 acres lie together from the said forera to the cross on the way from W⟨allingford⟩ to Abingdon.
