Clapcote. Indenture witnessing that John son of Eustace Randoulf of W⟨allingford⟩ has enfeoffed Andrew de Sutton of the same with 2 acres of arable land in C⟨lapcote⟩ in the shot called Le Puynde between Sir Edmund de Bereford ’s land on the north and that of Richard Moryn of W⟨allingford⟩ on the south, reaching above Westweye on the east, and towards the west to Monekedene. If John pays Andrew 40/- in 6 years the grant shall be null. Witnesses: Richard Moryn , Robert Butty , Robert of Makkeneye , William Barefot , Gilbert du Char , Walter le Cripse , Thomas Aleyn .
