Clapcote. Alan Russel grants to Richard his son and Helen a daughter of William Blakemor , one acre of arable land called Le ettonacur, in C⟨lapcote⟩, between the land of Jordan le carpenter on the east, and that late of Agnes Ricote on the West, reaching on the south to the said Jordan’s garden, and to the north to the land of William le Schepherde and the land of John le Gredere . Witnesses: Robert Butti , John Witing , Gilbert le char , Nicholas le coupare , Thomas of Hoturboune , Walter le cripse , Simon Kenhelm . Given at C⟨lapcote⟩ . ⟨4 Nov. 1325.⟩
