Welton. Sentence of the dean of the Arches against the parishioners of Welton. The lord of W⟨elton⟩ and his accomplices had buried a certain Adam the reeve of W⟨elton⟩ in the cemetery there. His body or bones, and the body or bones of any one buried there after him, are to be exhumed, and buried by the monks in a suitable place. The parishioners are also to pay 30 marks costs to the monks. Endorsed: ’Lat’ fuit ista sentencia 12 Kal’ Augusti [12 July] Anno [&c.] 1296 Fodringh’.’
