Welton. The dean of D⟨aventry⟩ acknowledges a citation of Symon de Wymundham and Reginald de Heydone , officials of the court of Canterbury (sede vacante) for John Maulore , Simon of Tywe , Robert Ace , Richard le Heyr , Robert de Dustone , Richard Martyn , Richard the marshal , Thomas the clerk , Henry ale Grene , Richard Brown , Richard Lovel , William Brun , John super montem , Richard his brother, Henry son of William , Thomas the marshal , William son of Robert King , Henry Slay , William son of Thomas the miller , Richard Vincent , Agnes wife of Robert of Dustone , Eustace the porter , Alice wife of John Ingeland , Thomas the clerk of the same, ’ac totam communitatem ville de Welton’, to appear at the court of the Arches before the court-day after the Sunday on which is sung ’misericordia domini’. In the cause [&c.]. Given at London [10 April] 1294. The Dean has executed this mandate, but John Maulore and Henry Slay are now dead. Given at D⟨aventry⟩ . ⟨21 April⟩ 1294.
