Staverton. Nicholas, prior of D⟨aventry⟩ , called to warranty by Emma Crok , recognizes by a fine made at Northampton the right of William de Morton in a moiety of half a virgate and a messuage in Staverton held at a rent of 18d. for the prior after an assize of mort d’ancestor had been summoned between them. For this William gave the prior ½ mark. ⟨18 Oct. 1240.⟩
