Record of case heard in All Saints, Northampton, before the Official of Lincoln, between Geoffrey of Sutton , acting for D⟨aventry⟩ , who claim the church of Preston, and Roger of Buckingham , acting for Stephen de Camvile, rector of Mersche . Witnesses for D⟨aventry⟩ were: John Ilberd of Preston , Robert Boniour , Geoffrey Ivel , Gilbert Godfrey , Alexander Godfrey , John Russel , Henry ad fontem , Richard le Deye , brother Ralph of Wadford , Geoffrey de aula of D⟨aventry⟩ , Simon de aula of D⟨aventry⟩ , John Draper of D⟨aventry⟩ , William de Baddeby , Thomas de Falvesle , John Chocheman , Roger Cutte , William of Charwelton , Geoffrey Gamel , Robert le Baudewyne , Richard Jay , Guy of Mortone , John le Strange , Hugh le Cortiler , William Bigge , Hugh parcarius , William Whyte , Jordan Balle , John le Barker , Elyas de la Launde , John Wastere , Luke of Baddeby , Nicholas Selle , Simon Baudewyne , Robert Home , Nicholas de opere , William Snowe , Robert Paunsel , William Bocard , and Laurence of Preston . Adjournment to St. Frideswide’s, Oxford, on Tuesday after the Sunday on which is sung ‘Judica me deus’ [9 March]. 7 Feb. 1315. On that day D⟨aventry⟩ produced 4 witnesses: brother Peter de Horpole , Henry de Kibbeworth, chaplain, Walter Selle of D⟨aventry⟩ , and Robert Coke of Preston . Accused produced none. Adjournment till Tuesday after the Sunday on which is sung ‘Misericordia domini’ [13 April], in St. Margaret’s, Leicester, and then to the court-day after 3 May, in All Saints.
