Norton. Edmund Newenham of Everdon, gent., John Staverton, late of D⟨aventry⟩ , and Thomas Clerke of Norton , demise to Robert Maundell , William Knyght of Norton, sen., John Knyght of Charwelton , Henry Clerke , John Falclyffe , and William Knyght, jun., an acre of arable land in Norton in the Ferure called Crosseland Furlong, which they lately had of the gift of Thomas Lake of Trope, husbandeman, and Agnes his wife. They appoint Thomas Harryes of Thrope and John Knyght of Norton their attorneys to deliver seisin. Given at Norton. Witnesses: John Smythe of Muscote , Thomas Clerke of Norton , Thomas Aleyn of the same, William Bodyngton of the same, John Benett of the same. 30 July ⟨1489.⟩
