Since master William de Poncii once held from D⟨aventry⟩ a tenement ‘in magna placea’ on the north side, between the tenement of John son of Philip (which William Waleys holds from him) on the east, and the tenement of Baldewyn Paunsel on the west (held from D⟨aventry⟩) for 10/- a year; and afterwards the said master William granted the said tenement to William Campedene and his heirs for his homage and service and 4/- rent; and D⟨aventry⟩ brought this homage, service and rent from Robert Fox , heir of the said master William; the prior, &c. have now assigned it to the Chapel of S. Mary. Given in the monastery. Feb. 2 1283.
