Daventry and Drayton, The Symond Holding. William son of lord John of D⟨aventry⟩ grants to Robert Symond of D⟨aventry⟩ and Henry his son a 2/- rent from 3 acres of land which John the wheelwright of D⟨aventry⟩ and Alice his wife held from the grantor for the term of their lives, with reversion after their death; viz. 1 acre in the south field of D⟨aventry⟩ over D⟨aventry⟩ Maweland by the land of Richard le Webbe , ½ acre over le Loch extending into Southeok by the land of Symon of Neubolde , 1 rood beneath le Lyde between the land of the lord of D⟨aventry⟩ on the one hand and land of Robert of D⟨aventry⟩ on the other. In the south field of Drayton 5 roods lying beneath Stepenhul between the land late of John Bayuel and Robert le Barkere . Witnesses: John de pistrino of D⟨aventry⟩ , William de aula of the same, Jordan Scon of the same, Robert Smith of the same, Symon Gymma of the same. Given at D⟨aventry⟩ . ⟨22 Jan. 1346.⟩ Seal.
