Daventry and Drayton, The Symond Holding. William son of Robert Gymme of Drayton grants to Henry son of Robert Symond of D⟨aventry⟩ 5 acres of arable land and meadow with the adjacent headrigs in the fields of Drayton, viz. in the North field 5 roods lying with the headrigs beneath le Cleypittes by the land of Jordan of Opthrop ; 5 roods with the headrigs lying over le Longebuche by the land of the said Jordan; 3 roods with headrigs in Cleuerslade by the land of the said Jordan: 3 roods of meadow lying in le Smethemede by the meadow of John le Werrour ; ½ acre with headrigs beneath Stonhul by the land of Thomas le spicer ; 1 piece of meadow at Stonhulsitheoverende by the meadow of Simon of D⟨aventry⟩ by the South field; ½ acre beneath Othul by the grantor’s land. Witnesses: John de pistrino of D⟨aventry⟩ , Robert Symond of the same, William de aula of the same. John le Werrour of Drayton , Geoffrey le porter of the same. Given at D⟨aventry⟩ . ⟨25 April 1345.⟩
