John the dean, son of Robert brother of Master William rector of the church of Wlfamescote , quit-claims to D⟨aventry⟩ in free alms that messuage in D. which Robert his father once held from them, viz. that by the house which belonged to John Plumston , with the croft appurtenant. He has also given back the charter which the said R⟨obert⟩ had from them about the said messuage. Witnesses: William of D⟨aventry⟩ , kt., Nigel of D⟨aventry⟩ , John Gemme , John Baiuel , Henry the cook , William Plumstone , Roger the porter , William de sartrin ’. ⟨c. 1230–40.⟩
