Oxford, St Frideswide William le Longe, tanner, of Oxford, and Matilda called La Bowyere his wife quit-claim to Geoffrey son of John of Codingtone of Oxford their right in a plot of land lying by the great outer gate of the Priory of St. F., between the land late of Reginald le Lumenur on the West, and the land late of John Park on the East, which John de Codinton late the husband of Matilda bequeathed to her in his will. For this Geoffrey has given them 20/-. Witnesses: William of Burncestre, mayor, John of Hamptone and Richard of Berkele , bailiffs, John of Dokelinton , Richard of Mortone , Ralph of Cockerwelle , John of Stamford , Adam of Tilhurst , Thomas of Morton , Thomas the clerk.
