An exemplification by King Henry VII of legal proceedings reciting that Robert, abbot of Oseney sued Edward Derby, rector of Little Rissington on Sept. 21, for 40s. bieng two years of an annuity of 20s. due from Little Rissington, which had been paid by David Jonys the last rector and all previous rectors as far as memory of man went. Edward Derby could not deny that the annuity was due, and was condemned in 40s. and 6s. 8d. expenses. Nov. 18, 1502.
