Snape (Snapes). 1391. Copy from court roll of surrender and admission. Surrender by Alice, wife of late John Raulyn jun., without the court according to the custom of the manor, through teh hands of Thomas Merly, father of the said tenant and in the presence of Robert Fynch, villein tenant, to the lord and others of the homage, of 3 roods of land held by villein tenure called Stonylond of the holding of Folkes, with appurtenances in Snapes, and admission of Margaret Folkes. Dated: Tuesday [12 Sept.] after Nativity B.M.V. 15 Ric. II [1391].
