Thetford. 1363. Alice, wife of late William le Warner of Thetford (Thefford) and executrix of his will grants to William Pyper of Tettyngton a messuage in Thefford which was William Godman of Ixworth (Ixworthe)'s, lying between the messuages of formerly of John Pyk' and Sir John de Furneyx, knight, abutting on the highway called Gresmarket leading to the market of Thefford ('Regalem viam ducentem dil[sic] Gresmarket versus forum Thefford') and a lane called Pykeslane for a certain sum of money. Witnesses: John Davy, mayor of Thetford (Thefford), John Cha' coronatinus, Simon de Grenndesbourg, William Lester, William Hardyng, John Sherberd, William Russhel. Seal is missing.
