Glemsford. 1585. Francis Bastarde, gent. grants William Allen of Glemsford (Glemsforde, co. Suffolk, yeoman), residue of twenty-year lease of mannor of Glemsford (Glemsforde), granted 19 June 12 Elizabeth by Richard Coxe, deceased, then bishop of Ely. Faded and partly illegible. Seal is missing, so is the signature.
