Needham Street. 1299-1300. Grant from John Beuelers, of Needham Street (Nedham in the parish of Gaysile), to Beatrice his daughter, in consideration of a sum of money, of 6 acres of arable land in Nedham, 3 acres lying in the field called Wethercroft next to the land of the said John, and abutting thereon; 2 acres lying in Punchefeld, next tot he land of the lady 'Joyese' of Thelnetham, and abutting on the land of the said John; and 1 acre lying in Walkerescroft, next tot he land of Gilebert of Le Hay, and abutting on the land of Hugh (Smith) 'Fabri'. Dated at Needham Street (Nedham) on the feast of the Conversion of St Paul, 28 Ed. I [25 Jan. 1299-1300]. Witnesses: Richard Warenner, Alexander Bastun, Walter Mercer, John Cristemasse, Walter Kersiner, Hugh (Smith) 'Fabro'. Endorsed: Beweless.
