Mettingham (Mettingham ). 1414. Final agreement between William Bernham, clerk, John Gerarde, clerk, William Paston, Thomas Stodhaghe, and William Gerarde, plaintiffs, and William Lyouns, and Joan his wife, deforciants, by which the latter grant to the former 15 acres of land, 2 acres of meadow, 2 acres of pasture, and 3 shillings rent, in Metyngham and Ilketshall (Ilketeshale), for 20 marks of silver. Dated within a month of the past of St Michael, 2 Hen. V [1414]: before Norton J.C.P.
