Kentford. 1355. Grant from John Balle of Kentford (Kenteforde) to John Fyche of Higham (Heiham), and Alice his wife, of 6 acres of arable land in the fields of Kenteforde, between the land of the said John Balle, and that once held by Robert of Abbethorpe, and extending from the road called 'le Waterweye' to the common heath of Kenteforde and Needham Street (Nedham). Dated at Kentford (Kenteforde), Thursday the feast of the Ascension, 29 Ed. III [14 May, 1355] Witnesses: John Bunting, Edmund Bunting, John Hosteler, Alexander Sperlyng, John Gibbe, and others. The seal is wanting.
