Kentford. 1314. Grant from Thomas 'Syro' and Jueta his wife, of Needham Street (Nedham), to Walter Priour, Petronella his wife, and John their son, of two acres of arable land in Kenteforde called Schortelond, between the land of the prioress and convent of Marham and that required by the said Walter from the said Thomas and abutting on the meadow of the said Walter called Smalemedwe. Dated at Needham Street (Nedham), on Tuesday [12 Nov] after thefeast of St Martin, 8 Edw. II [1314]. Witnesses. Walter le Mercer, Gilbert le Marseah, John ate Berwe, John Howe, Ralph (Townsend) 'ad capud ville', Thomas Beylard, and others. The 2 seals are wanting.
