Higham (Higham etc). 1388. Grant from Thomas Heigham and John Lelye to John, son of John Fyche, and Alice his sister of 2 messuages, and 40 acres of arable land, lying in the vill and fields of Heigham, which are held by gift of John Fyche, sen., with remainder to Alice and her assigns. Dated at Higham (Heigham), Monday [5 Oct.] after the feast of St Michael, 12 Ric. II [1388]. Witnesses: Thomas of Clare, Thomas, son of Thomas of Heigham, Robert le Warner, Thomas Baldoke, John Lote, and others. The two seals are wanting.
